HerHaven began with a dose of pragmatism. A few months ago, I started an NGO, partly as a way to build my profile for a scholarship to study abroad. It seemed like a practical step. That plan didn't pan out, but something unexpected did: I discovered a true passion for the work.

Now, I'm starting over, this time with a clear and genuine purpose. Alongside two incredible partners, our mission is to continue building HerHaven (formerly known as HelpTheGirlChild) into a platform that gives girls and women in Nigeria a real chance at a safer, more dignified, and empowered life.
